Hi everybody!
Here is a little 3D modelisation and animation of the Luxo Jr. lamp used in Pixar logo that I created. I made this to train for animation of specifics "characters" like this famous lamp.. It is the first time I make an animation like that. I have learnt during one our the Vray engine because I didn't knew it and I needed it for this video. I am not a 3D expert, I am selfmade. So, I don't have certain basis principles in 3D and I make things by my own ( I use tutorials of course). I know that my animation is realy simple and I admit I wanted to make it simple because I am not an expert. I would like you to tell me what you think about it and what I can change to improve. Thanks a lot.
For people who don't know what "parkour" is, it is a sport I practise since 1998..

Here is the video:

hi

I think that you should work on you animation curves and timing to get a more dynamic animation. You can find animation curves in the top tool bar "Curve editor".
There you'll find options to convert your curves to fast, slow, constant, ..
--> URL

You can also display animation curves in the viewport. ( right click on the object you wanna check, propriety , [x] display animation curves )

if your animation curves isclean, smooth and the timing is good , your animation should be ok, but if it looks like a roller coaster then you should fix it ;).

Thank you for your comment. It was my first time in this kind of animation and I have to admit, I have made it really easy. As you can see, my lamp does not walk, it jumps and levitates lol. Thank you Matrix.
Next time i will try to make a worked animation. Thanks for your advices.
